partners with our customers to raise monies for their charities of interest.

PETCO Foundation
Our customer, PETCO, has always done everything they could to support animal welfare causes. In 1999, the PETCO Foundation was established to promote a wide variety of educational and charitable activities nationwide by partnering with local animal welfare organizations at the grass roots level. To show our support, Store Opening Solutions supports the PETCO Foundation's "Scramble fore Animals" annual golf tournament.

Big Brothers Big Sisters
Our customer, Pep Boys, focuses on valuing relationships with associates, customers and families - this focus makes its association with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Philadelphia a natural fit. Pep Boys supports Big Brothers Big Sisters by organizing events such as Community Days, an Annual Golf Tournament and Holiday Party and by holding recruitment rallies, community meetings and participating in national events including a school mentoring program. Store Opening Solutions proudly supports Pep Boys in their work with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic
The CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic, Inc. is a tax-exempt public charitable organization, as determined by the IRS. Since 1999, the CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic has allocated over $8 million in charitable donations to dozens of organizations. Over $1.6 million was raised in 2006 alone. Store Opening Solutions is a proud sponsor of the CVS/pharmacy Charity classic which supports American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Make-A-Wish Foundation, March of Dimes, and Special Olympics among others.

2007 VisionWalk
In response to employee participation, Store Opening Solutions matched contributions for VisionWalk. VisionWalk is a walk-a-thon style fundraising program of the Foundation Fighting Blindness.  As promising treatments move into critical human studies, the need for research funding is greater than ever before.

2006 Octoberfest
The second annual SOS Octoberfest raised over $2,000 with the sale of raffle tickets, silent auction items, games, and bake sale items. This money will be donated to the Rutherford County Boys and Girls Club and will be used to make a difference in children’s lives.
